Tennis lessons will start on July 4th, 2022

Monday to Thursday
9:00 AM to 9:30 AM: Age 4 – 6
9:30 AM to 10:15 AM: Age 7 – 12
10:15 AM to 11:15 AM: Age 13+ advanced
11:15 AM to 12:00 PM: All ages, for anyone who didn’t get in to an earlier lesson, grouped by age across the two courts

Friday
Make up day if lesson(s) cancelled earlier in the week due to rain or court maintenance.

Please bring a tennis racquet, water to drink, hats and sunscreen.

Tennis and Pickleball Etiquette:

Tennis or athletic shoes must be worn at all times. No flip flops or sandals to play tennis please. No bikes, skateboards, scooters or rollerblades on the tennis courts. Court reservations are limited to one hour per family per day if others are waiting. Guests are only allowed to play with a member.

2021 UB2 Tennis and Pickleball Court Rules

Eligibility: Use of the Tennis and Pickleball courts is exclusively for members and associates who have paid this year’s fees. These courts are private and not for public use.

Membership status may be checked at any time. Courts may be unavailable due to children’s lessons, special events or maintenance.

Equipment: Take care not to damage the court surface and nets. Only authorized persons may adjust the nets which are to be left set to tennis standards. Tennis or athletic shoes must be worn at all times. No pets, bikes,
skateboards, scooters or rollerblades on the tennis courts.

Cleanliness: Keep courts tidy. Please take your rubbish and recycling home with you.

Security: Lock codes are distributed to, and for the exclusive use of, members and associates who have paid this year’s fees. Lock codes may be changed at any time and are not be shared or borrowed. Last to leave locks up the gate. An unlocked gate does not grant permission for court use.

Guest Policy: UBII is private property. Guests accompanied by a member or associate are permitted for tennis and pickleball ONLY while the member or associate with a valid membership is playing. Other entry and use of the courts is posted and prohibited by UBII under the Ontario Trespass to Property Act R.S.O. 1990, c. T.21, s. 2 (1); 2016, c. 8, Sched. 6, s. 1. Public tennis and pickleball courts are shown on the city of Waterloo’s map.
