Swim Lessons 2023

Session 1 – July 3 to July 14

Session 2 – July 17 to July 28

Session 3 – July 31 1 to August 11 (Lessons will run on the holiday Monday)

Session 4 – August 14 to August 25

We teach swimming using the “Swim for Life” Lifesaving Society Swimming Lessons.

Lessons are given at the same time, daily, Monday to Friday.

Registration for each session will be the Friday prior to the first day of each session. Registration can be done at the pool house or by calling the pool office. It is our goal to make sure that every child who wants a lesson, will get a lesson.

Birthday Parties

  • The pool is available to rent on Saturday and Sunday mornings
  • 10 am to 12 pm
  • $142 (HST included) for two hours, for up to 40 swimmers
  • Additional fee if there are more then 40 swimmers

Pool Rules

Revised April 10, 2009

  1. Please shower before entering the pool.
  2. Children who are 7 years of age or younger MUST be accompanied by an adult while on the UBII Property.
  3. Children must be able to swim one length of the pool before being allowed in the deep end.
  4. No pets, bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, or water guns are allowed in the pool area.
  5. Diving is only allowed during lessons.
  6. Toys, balls, and flotation devices are allowed in the pool if used safely.
  7. No roughhousing or foul language.
  8. Food and drink must be confined to grassy areas only. NUT FREE please.
  9. Children under 41″ or children wearing ANY TYPE of floatation device MUST BE WITHIN ARMS REACH OF A PARENT IN THE WATER.
  10. Children who are not potty trained are REQUIRED to wear plastic pants under their suits.
  11. Children should not be in the guard office unless they need assistance from a lifeguard.
  12. Rafts are allowed only with the guards’ permission and only if there are fewer than 10 people in the pool.
  13. When the air temperature drops below 18°C, the pool will be closed to swimmers. (This does not apply to swimming lessons).
  14. Members and associates are now welcome to bring up to three guest(s) with them to the pool for open and adult swims once or twice a week, subject to availability of space as determined by the guards. Please call the pool office if you would like to check for space before you come over. As before, grandchildren and caregivers continue to be welcome all the time. Guests will need to sign in with their full name(s) and a contact phone number(s). Please note: UB2 residents who have not paid membership fees are not eligible to be guests.
